Paver Stone InstallationWhen it comes to the playground construction process, our installers have experience in many different systems including steel and recycled plastic. Each type of playground equipment requires a different skill-set and group of tools to properly construct. These skills are developed over years of installation experience and general know-how of using tools and manipulating steel.

AAA State of Play playground installers are also proficient in safety surfacing including poured in place. The photo displays expertise in installing paver stone. The installation and skills required of poured rubber and pavers may seem very different, however they are basically the same. The basics: create a level sub-base and then lay down the surface (rubber or paver). Although often overlooked, playgrounds at parks and schools often accompany many site enhancements including landscaping. These site improvements can enhance the play area. For instance, instead of bordering a play area or tree within a play area with a concrete curb or wood border, a flat paver can be used. On a playground pavers should be placed level with the surfacing. At times retaining walls must be built to contain play surfacing. Retaining walls should be accompanied by a fence or barrier to prevent falls if built into the play area.
