Rubber mulch is made from 100% recycled rubber and is far superior to traditional playground surfaces such as wood mulch, sand or pea gravel. Rubber mulch has a better safety rating than any of the other traditional ground covers tested by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. This mulch is IPEMA certified and ADA compliant. Its shock absorbing characteristics have been tested and prove that, from a 8-foot height, a child can fall into a 4-inch layer of rubber mulch without serious injury.
