All of the steel components are galvanized and finished with a black powder-coating for rust-resistance. The 6” square post supports a 42” x 72” marked steel, glass, acrylic or polycarbonate backboard. Steel backboards are fitted with the Endurance fixed rim, while glass and acrylic use a breakaway Endurance rim. Just choose the backboard material and size to customize this in ground basketball goal and make it fit flawlessly into any playground basketball court. This unit is thoroughly tested for post deflection, backboard vibration, structural integrity and load capacity. It is ideal for NIRSA, recreation and youth basketball purposes.
