The Tripod Middle Frame Connector is a modern design that offers more support by requiring additional legs. Swingsets with more than 2 seats require the middle frame connector as the maximum load per bay is 2 seats. Comes with set screws for easy installation into pipe. The connector fits a schedule forty 2" or 3" pipe (2-3/8 inch or 3-1/2 inch legs and top rail). Available in red or green. Each bay requires a self-provided 11 foot long top rail. An 8 foot high swing requires 11 foot long legs to properly mount into the ground with concrete (2 feet in-ground). To create higher swings, simply add a foot to the leg pipe.
