Customer Questions

Robin asked:
What is the difference between the contour and modern style bench swing. Which one would be best for our small town park
Hello Robin and thank you for your question. The difference between the two benches is they are made by different manufactures, come in different frame patterns, as well as color options.
Nicole asked:
Frost depth here is 36” is frame made longer?
Hello Patrick! Thank you for reaching out to us. For the Contoured Bench Swing, the frame is not automatically extended for deeper frost lines. The unit features 4-foot legs designed for a standard footing depth of 24 to 28 inches. To accommodate a 36-inch frost depth while maintaining the recommended 18-inch seat height, you would typically need to extend the concrete footings below the frost line to prevent heaving. Please let us know if you have more questions. We're happy to help!
Sarah asked:
I see this is a relatively lightweight bench swing. What is the weight of the moving component without frame? Are the thermoplastic coated elements aluminum, and can I get a spec for the materials?
Hi Christina! Thank you for asking about the Countour Bench Swing. To answer your questions, the swing seat weight approximately 70 pounds without the frame. The components are made of steel and finished with an oven-fused polyethylene copolymer-based thermoplastic coating. We would be happy to email the full material specifications to you directly. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can help with. Have a great day!
