Choose from models that include 24-inch and 30-inch long spikes. The spike is easy to install in the ground with a hammer. The galvanization process protects the spike from the natural elements as it is exposed to every weather condition. Most playground borders include a recessed area so that the head of the spike will be inset and not be a trip hazard.
