Playground equipment climbers consist of several varieties including overhead climbers. An overhead climber consists of a horizontal bar connected by upright posts. The horizontal bar varies from unit to unit. Types of overhead climber include trapeze ring, rung, loop rung, tri-rung, track, and more. Each type of climber provides a slightly different experience to kids. For instance, the Three-Wheel Swinger and Track Ride include equipment with moving parts, whereas the majority of overhead climbers are fixed.
