Attaching your belt or bucket seat to a swing set is made easier and safer with our D Shackle Swing Seat Single Clevis Connector. Constructed from galvanized steel with a tamper-proof bolt, the D Shackle is specially designed to cradle the connection point. The D shape actually has a tight bottleneck at the top with a wide curved belly at the bottom. This uses gravity to keep the seat in the belly away from the connection point putting the riders weight on the strongest part of the shackle. Each seat will use two D Shackles, one on each side for a secure fit. Remember, because each piece is galvanized steel, it is weather resistant and will match with any swing set aesthetic. They are also all the same size making it interchangeable between a bucket or a belt seat. If your playground ever needs to have more bucket seats, all you’ll need is a new length of chain in the proper length but you can keep your D Shackle.
