Provide children with a whole environment of musical experience. The Botanical Garden Ensemble includes Tenor Tree, Lilypad Cymbals, Mushrooms (3), Flowers (2), and Butterflies (2). This amazing assembly brings together an orchestra of outdoor instruments, all designed to provide physical, auditory, and creative stimulation. Children can start with the Flowers which includes two colorful instruments, each with its own accompanying mallet. From the Flowers, kid musicians can hop over to drum either of two brilliantly hued Butterflies or any of the three Mushrooms (all with mallets attached). Or maybe they’ll dance towards the Lilypad Cymbals, where they can use the three available mallets and learn to make chords out of the ten green lily pads, each providing a distinct tone. From the Cymbals, children can scurry over to the Tenor Tree, where they can hear the notes of the green leaves ring out across the playground. Taken together, the Botanical Garden Ensemble offers musical entertainment to as many as ten children at once. The different structures not only allow for a variety of imaginative experiences, but they also offer different notes, so children can experience the whole scale of musical creation.
