The Freestanding Learning Junction Panel brings more traditionally text-book oriented learning to the playground. This element is made up of two double sided panels that work on both spelling and math in a kinesthetically appealing learning method. The words are cut into the dual color polyethylene panels creating a physical off-set as well as color contrast that will last through years of weather and adds a tactile element to learning. Both visual and kinesthetic learners will be drawn to the writing and then the cylinders embossed with raised numbers and letters that can be spun to the correct answers. Even if children aren’t necessarily coming up with the correct answers, they will be sure to use their imaginations for another use for these panels. They might become the lock on a treasure chest or a puzzle in an ancient ruin that they must solve to find the treasure hidden within.
