What is the weight limit for this swing? How far down in the ground is this placed? Is concrete required? Thanks.

Hello Teresa and thank you for your question. This swing is made for ages 2-12 and is commercial grade equipment that is used at parks, schools, churches, and HOA's. A concrete footer is required to mount the swing frame into the ground.

You stated this swing is able to withstand a wide range of weight. In your word what is it 100 200 300 or 500 pounds, can you be more pacific please. Thanks

This swing is tested up to 750 pounds. This swing has 5" posts and a 5" top rail. It will withstand the weight of an adult. Please keep in mind that several factors determine the weight a swing will hold. There are several components that come into play and changing any component will have an affect on the weight a swing can hold. The swing consists of the frame, swing hangers, S hooks or shackles, chain and the seat. All of these pieces come into play when determining the weight a swing can hold.

The footer needs to be 31" deep and the post needs to be a minimum of 24" deep in the ground. You should adjust the depth of your post, depending upon the thickness of your surfacing. The swing is made to be 8' from the top of your surfacing to the top rail.
