Does this get cemented into the ground? How do you stabilize it?

Hi Sheryl, this product ships already put together. This item doesn't require installation but you can pick up J-bolts from your local hardware store to install this into the ground. If you are planning on having older children, I would recommend looking at one of our larger merry-go-rounds.
