The Ahoy Matey Pirate Tower 1 is a swashbuckling adventure for children between the ages of 5 and 12. Its design resembles the top of a ship’s mast, with plenty of ropes and riggings to swing, climb, and hang from. The central post has a rounded observation platform and 6 horizontal beams that children can stand on, with an area of protective netting beneath that. There are ropes hanging down from the top of the 146-inch support post which connect to the ends of each of the beams, offering additional places to hold onto for stability. The upper platforms of the structure can be reached by climbing either of the two rope ladders, triangular climbing nets, or even a slanted rubber panel with a rope for rappelling. The compact size of this structure make it a welcome addition to any outdoor play area.
